We entered the WA natural gas market all the way back in March 2013. At the time there was only one other retailer in the state, and our entry meant that customers were able to choose between retailers and access discounts on their gas usage charges for the first time. We were proud to enter the market as a WA-born and bred company, with a long history in WA – we’d been supplying liquid petroleum gas (LPG) to customers across the state since 1956.

Over the years we’ve kept our focus on keeping things simple, and on providing friendly, local support so our customers don’t need to spend time thinking about gas. We’ve received a number of awards for our customer service and have always been delighted and humbled by our customers’ positive feedback and support.

Today we’re honoured to have over 200,000 customers who have chosen to be with Kleenheat as their natural gas retailer. We’d like to thank each and every one of those customers for choosing to be with Kleenheat!

How we celebrated

The Kleenheat team recently marked our natural gas birthday with a barbecue lunch.

The celebration included a huge 10^th birthday cake and cupcakes for all.

At the barbeque, we heard from some of the team members who were responsible for leading Kleenheat into the natural gas market back in 2013. We’re delighted that so many of our original natural gas team members are still working at Kleenheat today!
